The shortage of veterinarians, overcapacity of new pet owners, the sheer number of pet ownership, and staffing issues are causing longer wait times to get your pet in for treatment and delaying care.
In order to take some pressure off the veterinary clinics, Vet Christine has developed an online platform intended to give ongoing professional advice and support, triage recommendations, wellness care, and product recommendations for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and non-poisonous reptiles. Ask Vet Christine is not intended to take away from your routine vet visits. Instead, it is designed to supplement and help provide answers to those after-hours and weekend questions that arise regarding your pet’s health, wellness, and behavior.
Veterinary care is at an all-time high, and more pet owners seek answers to their pet care needs.
Hi, I'm Christine
Christine is from Moorhead, Minnesota and went on to graduate from MN State University Moorhead with B.S. in Biology, and University of Minnesota Veterinary School with a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine. She works as a small animal general practice veterinarian with a special interest in nontraditional pets (ferrets, rabbits, tortoises, snakes, guinea pigs, goats, llamas).
Christine has always known that she wanted to be a veterinarian and doesn’t remember wanting to be something different. She has a sixth sense in seeing pain and illness in animals. Being a veterinarian defines who she is, and she loves it.
She especially enjoys the human connection. By personally getting to know her clients, she is able to help families through their pets’ illnesses, how to help their pets through the process of aging, and eventually helping them heal with end-of-life decisions.
